Best Drugstore Mascara for Volume: My Review

I’ve recently discovered the best drugstore mascara for volume and boy, is it cheap. Like, less than half the price of Lash Paradise (my old favorite drugstore mascara).

I’m not sponsored or anything, just excited.

Essence is out here doing the damn thing. Their I Love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara delivers mega volume, jet-black pigment, and an easy-to-use wand. I don’t understand why it’s so cheap (and I don’t really care).

Tati’s Essence Mascara

Tati Westbrook gushes about essence mascaras, so it was only a matter of time before I tried them. As always, Tati was right about this essence mascara.

The wand is thin with small spokes. It’s easy to maneuver around the eye and deposit formula on every lash. And each coated lash seems to bulk as this formula dries. It’s amazing.

 Mascara for Daaaaays

I curl my lashes at least twice during makeup application, and the essence I Love Extreme Crazy Volume mascara is here for it. It doesn’t flake or smudge during the second curling.

Or for the rest of the day, really. And I sweat a lot. Or have toddlers poking me in the eye. I’ve been known to take naps in the middle of the day, face smushed into a throw pillow. But there’s no mascara on the pillow-or smeared into my lower lash line.

At a Drugstore Price

How is this essence mascara so cheap and so good while Tom Ford charges a bazillion dollars for mascara? I dunno, man. When a drugstore product performs like this mascara, I get indignant about the exorbitant prices of luxury makeup.

Crazy volume, y’all. CRAZY.

If you’re in the market for a new mascara, I highly recommend this essence mascara. If you give the other formulas a try, let me know what you think of them.

What’s your best drugstore mascara for volume, or other favorite drugstore product? Spill the beans! Share this article, tag your lovah, wait for new makeup.

Happy lash batting!
