Small Business Saturday is the Saturday after Thanksgiving (November 29th, 2025). If you haven’t visited a local business lately, this is a great day to drop by.
Frequenting local businesses is literally the best, easiest, and most fun way to bolster your local economy, any day of the year. But this particular day, in late November, many of your favorite small businesses are offering sales, giveaways, and even snacks.
I live in Wayne County, Indiana, so I’ll just be featuring some small businesses in my area. Live somewhere else? Look around the internet and take advantage of your local Small Business Saturday deals.

Shop Local, Shop Small
No, but seriously, if you want to spread some goodwill and cheer for the season, shop local. Line the pockets of our community members, people we know, not Jeff Bezos (or whoever).

Conclusion
I’ll be using this guide to make first, a list (matching stores/businesses with their gift recipients), then a map (planning the order/route to each).
For extra good karma, document your Small Business Saturday experience. Take some pictures and post them with the appropriate hashtag (I bet businesses will have signs and flyers telling what that is).
